I'm sure you've heard people discussing cleanses by now. It's become a prevalent part of the culture for those who are interested in cleaning their systems and purging themselves of all the toxins and sludge that's built up in their intestinal tracts. The idea is simple: for a short number of days you adopt a specific diet that is light and wholesome and stop eating solid, heavy foods that put a strain on your system. The benefits are immediate: you feel lighter, cleaner, and often ready to kick off a serious diet.
In the great dance off workout championship of the world, which would win as the best workout: Brazil Butt Lift or Hip Hop Abs? Which workout has the best moves, makes you sweat the most, which features the most scorching music? Which, in effect, is the best dance workout in the entire world? Today in this here blog post we're going to take a look at each, analyze their strengths and weaknesses, and then reach a crushing verdict. Crushing, I tell you.
The Insanity Workout is billed as an extreme workout. It's meant to challenge even the most conditioned of top level athletes, meant to push people who are already incredibly fit and healthy to new extremes. The videos show terribly athletic people collapsing in pools of sweat as Shaun T urges them to go just a little further. Does this mean that the Insanity Workout is for nobody but the physical elite? Can somebody climb off the couch and give it a shot? The answer is simple: anybody can do Insanity. Read on to see how.
If you've been around the P90X block a couple of times, then you'll have your favorite workouts and the ones you dread. For example, I love the Arms & Shoulders, Chest Shoulders & Triceps and Shoulders & Arms. Not so hot on Plyometrics, Legs & Back and the Ab Ripper, but what can you do? What you realize though is that with practice, with time, you start to really love certain exercises, certain moves that get you pumped, that you work extra hard at because you get that slight degree of extra pleasure doing it. So this blog post is a round up of MY favorite P90X Workout moves, and while I know these won't appeal to everybody, feel free to chime in with what gets you psyched!
Some people are just crazy. Or suicidal. Or want to lose weight with extreme prejudice. Some people simply love an extreme challenge, or feel that if they're not pushing the very bleeding limit of any program, they're not giving it their all.
