i cant believe its finally here!!!!! Does anybody know about this upgraded pack and what’s in it? Are they coming out with a special supplement like with p90x? Maybe an Insanity Formula? By the looks of the video previews and the sample disc i got from one on on with Tony Horton, the best recovery will be praying for mercy!!!!
Ok..where are the “BIGGER” bodies? Where should someone who’s 5′7 200lbs start? (female..hour glass figure..) Im excited about this workout BUT where should I begin? The more info i know the easier it is for me to grasp what i need to do and how fast my actual body form can get there! I cant get motivated if i dont see someone who looks like me transformed within that “60 day” period! HELP!! Cause im ready just need abit of a push!!
Hey Love - Insanity is a program that targets people that are already active and working out everyday. If you are a beginner, i recommend you start with Slim in 6 and get moving in the right direction. Make it your goal to first get healthy (slim in 6), then go crazy in do insanity.
As far as motivation, you can always count on the Extreme Community to push you along if you let us know that you wont mind our nagging you
Hi Love: i needed a push too and once I got going, there’s no stopping me! I started with Slim in 6 then did some Turbo Jam. I just saw the new Insanity and am getting ready to try it but need a few more weeks of a less Insane program. I like having others here that share in my struggles. it keeps me going. Oh, i also suggest once you are doing several times a week of physical activity, try the p90x recovery formula. It totally helps me w/ soreness and it tastes like a creamscile w/out the bad calories and sugar! good luck
Pete, i spoke to an agent at Extreme when I was ordering my Insanity and they mentioned that Shakeology is a great way to supplement the Insanity workout. It gives you an extra snack full of healthy stuff, but w/ only like 140 or 150 calories. Im going to try it.
if you are very out of shape.. try hitting the local park up or just doing some light aerobic and muscle training like pushups and situps.. eventually tho you are going to have to push your self you may not be able to keep up and make it through t the video all the way like shaun t in the beginning but if ur serious about getting into shape and push yourself you will be suprised on how fast you are are able to get into the workout no matter how out of shape you are.
my girlfriend and i just started the program 2 1/2 weeks ago. we already see results and feel it too. this is one of the best programs ive tried. i used to lift weights to get in shape, but now i use my body resistance and cardio to remold myself. killer program.

I couldn’t walk the first week because my calves hurt so bad, but now three weeks into it I can do almost all of the workout, my body is reshaping and I feel so energetic during the day (the first week I felt dead). I wasn’t in good shape and hadn’t been working out much, but it didn’t take long at that intensity to get into it. My motivation came from a lady on his commercial who said “ShawnT isn’t doing the jumping, I am”…and that’s where the results are coming from. ShawnT is awesome at motivating…but like the lady said,…you have to be the one to do it. That’s what I think about whenever I want to stop…. “I have to do it.” It is totally INSANE, and I love it.
I just finished my 2nd week of the Insanity program and I’m feeling great! I wasn’t in shape at all. I just turned 27 and I haven’t really worked out since my sophomore yr of high school (so 11 yrs) I love Shawn T’s motivating personality (and he’s nice to look at! lol) and you do it at your own pace and just try to get better everyday!!!! At the beginning of this program I couldn’t do some of the moves but now I can do all of them-maybe not as many or as fast as Shawn but I’m doing them!!!No matter what “type” you are, if you have the right mindset you should do it b/c it really works!!! You have to really REALLY want it! If you’re a whiner and an excuse maker then this isn’t for you!! I didn’t think I would make it to the 2nd day and I’m starting my 3rd week tomorrow and I can’t wait!!!!
hi my brother was talking about insanity workouts and said they really work i am a big exercise freak i love to stay in shape but with stress from school and work its getting kind of hard where do i start i need to cut back and get in shape before i go on vacation in 8 weeks help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am ready for a challenge so what do i need to do

I’m an exilitary female and having trouble getting started. I’ve tried the michael thurman 6wm makeover and it really works is just my work schedule is crazy I work from 12noon to 1am 4 days a week and do on lone classes till about 4 am. I’m usually exhausted on my days off but still have stuff to do at home. Lately i’m just not feeling the Gym just want to sleep. Once I get started I”m a beast with working out just can’t get started…HELP i’m getting older and need to get my health back. I had asthma and beat it quit smoking and gave up chocolat so i know I can do this..

I think you need to learn about nutrition, and start on a program like Turbo Jam or Slim in 6. Give those a look, and see what you think!
Congrats to all who are willing to try insanity! Today is my last day of my first run through. I was 40 lbs over weight and had NO core muscles when i started. Thats all changed. I still have that stubborn last 10 lbs to shred before i see my ripped 6 pack but its there. I can feel it. I am going to go through it again. For those that need a little push, I smoked for 25 years, I was jiggly and soft everywhere. My fat rolls used to bounce around so hard during the first month it would hurt my skin. I lost 6 inches on my waist, gained 4 on my chest, 2 on my arms and my legs are ripped. I have doubled my fit test results If I can do it, you can. Put the dvd on right now and go!!
I am anticipating the arrival of my INSANITY dvds… I am 5′4′ and weigh 161
and I believe that half of it is belly fat. I would sing INSANITY’s praises if by the end of the program my belly is flat, arms and legs are toned, and my butt is more pronounced!! I love a challenge and can’t wait to get started!
So bored with the gym that I am not even motivated to go anymore. I am looking into the Insanity program, but I need to know about how much space I will need to be able to do the workouts. I dont have a lot of space to move around so if anyone can give me some detail on that it would be most helpful before I spend the money.
Or if it does take a lot of space, should I do P90X if it does not involve alot of space?
Kimbow-I get bored easy, too. The insanity is awesome. My husband has P90X & has lost 30 lbs so far ( he had more to lose). His is near the end. I have lost 10 lbs in my 5th week insanity, but I’ve a lot of inches all over!!!!!!! In P90X you need bands, weight & a bar. With Insanity it’s all you, you just need space for the DVDs. The big difference is Insanity is faster pace with LOTS of Cardio.
Almost done with the complete INSANITY workout program; one more week and the whole thing is completed! What’s next after INSANITY? Do it all over again to maintain this fitness level? Thanks.

As I understand correctly you have to be fit to start any of these two workouts. I am about to finish the RevAbs (Full Throttle), will it be enough to do Insanity and them P90X?

hi, i was wondering if a 220 pound 15 yr old can lose 30-40 pounds in 54 days with insanity, im not on the nutrition plan but my intake persists of 2 meals a day with cereal in the morning,chicken rice and salad in the afternoon, and a salad for dinner can i lose the weight on insanity? im also doing the bike at the gym for 20 minutes morning and night before insanity and after

does anyone know when should one do the abs routine? I mean, the calendar starts with only one workout (I’m in my first week); d But later it has pure cardio and cardio abs in the same day.
What kind of gear do you need for this work out? ANy weights or resistance bands? Also, do you need a big work out space or can you do it in your living room. I have only watched a couple minutes of the infomercial, but would really like to give it a go. Just want to make sure I can get it done.
